Why Dexter Cattle?

The Irish Dexter
A small heritage breed with a lot to offer.
Dexter cattle are a traditional Irish breed valued for their smaller stature and versatile qualities. They are known for calm temperaments and are well suited to smaller-scale farms.
We chose Dexters for their manageable size, disposition, well-marbled beef, and the breed’s high-butterfat A2A2 milk potential.

Why we raise Dexters
We appreciate the breed’s smaller frame and temperament, along with the quality of its beef. Our cattle are raised on pasture, and rotational grazing is part of how we manage the herd and the land.
Every farm is different, and we’re glad to share more about how we care for our herd and what makes Dexter beef distinctive.
